My opinion is to move Elim off the TW server and on to a different one. Then you could have as many Elim arenas as you wanted.
Elim is flypaper for players who have ego bigger than houses, think that the TW community revolves around them, and enjoy whining in pub chat. So please consider moving it to a new server and taking the players with you.

Last time i heard! there was a place in tw where no one thrash talked and no one had big egos and everyone recognized their mistakes and didnt whined in pub chat, it was the continuum heaven where you could play a healthy game with your e-friends and chat like you do with your irl friends when you are sitting at a coffe table, it was ?go base... hum... guess not! <_<

Honesly, any shittalking in base is all in good fun, its pretty rare that people are like "OMG so and so you suck, go back to put you fucking newbie"

Its always just people jokin around. Sometimes there are fights, but in elim its constantly people talking shit. But thats only because anyone can play elim, you have to be picked for base, and people that talk alot of shit and are annoying newbs simply dont get picked.

Yes, there are people in Elim who don't do that, and there are people in other arenas who do. But are you really going to argue that my point is generally not correct?

Elim is not a team game. As such, it draws people who chose to play with themselves. (Since this is true, it ought to be called masturbation instead of Elim.) It is my opinion that there is more whining, flaming and general little boy ‘my penis is bigger than yours’ in Elim than other arenas. If people are attracted to that, more power to you and them. I am not. I can tolerate the amount of that behavior in most of the other arenas. But Elim drives me out every time I try. I have only played since 1998, but perhaps your experience is greater or more diverse than mine.

He never said "everyone", in fact, you're the one who spoke in those terms. He never said that there's no whining anywhere else or that all players in elim were like that. The closest Ephe came to that was to say that there's more "whinning in elim then in any other arena in tw", only those weren't his exact words; they were yours. Stop arguing against what you think he said, and start looking at what he actually said.
