You know what I figure? Staff is the police of TW and police are generally never liked. Police enforce the rules and people don't like things being enforced upon them, granted there are a few times where they goof and shouldn't be giving a ticket/warning or whatever...but everyone is human...everyone makes mistakes. People are going to hate most of staff no matter what. I think everyone knows this...and I don't know why people continue to throw more 'hate staff' threads on this forum. It's WELL KNOWN that most of us aren't liked much...why keep saying the same thing over and over? (Nothing against ya mikes, just throwing my 2cents out there.)

Oh, regarding the nano technology. We discussed this on TW staff recently. True story. We decided to avoid it after we concluded that the nanobots may become self replicating and use my cat as a source for raw materials. DoCk thought of that one.

Nanotechnology means using single small entities doing a very, very specific task, and doing that task very, very well.

Perhaps this is the solution, each TW player should have his own personal staffer. Each personal staffer would always be online when their assigned TW player is online, always ready to drop everything they are doing and come to his/her aid.
This approach would require that 50% of the TW is staff, but if you historically consider just how many people have already been on staff, that is about the right percentage. If this was the way things were, think how much easier it would be to be on staff. No more endless lame help calls from different players, you only have to educate the one player you are assigned to. As the player becomes more experienced, the staffer matches his rise in knowledge by himself rising through the staff ranks. Each staffer would only have to host the specific events for his player, not the rest of the TW population. Each staffer would also only have to handle cheater calls for his specific player.
