I don't see why did they close ekes thread, or many other threads.

It's the "Staff" section threads that get closed always... what ever you say whenever you say.

I supposed most of the ppl know where to send an email when you have to some complaining to do, but if you dont want to send an email cause you don't want to complain. What if you just want to tell other ppl how did they get banned, why did they get banned.

Doesn't your high go sky high when alt-tabbing in and out?

Your high is the highest spike you've had while playing in that session time. Low is the exact opposite of that, and it shouldn't be considered as part of lag really.. I have had fine ping/packetloss/latency when my high was approx. 5k

You say staff has been banning cheaters.. give me a break, when people who are known CE abusers continue to play with their "weird spikes" without any tinfo or lag problems then its pretty obvious. You just need to wake up and realize that people are cheating and we need to get rid of them before TWL this season becomes a huge joke. Even if we don't accept logs as evidence anymore, how many times do you have to hear about someone using CE or seeing a log of someone using CE or ingame lag switch programs to do something. Especially when Vys the ex-CE abuser tells me exactly who has the programs because he used to play with them. So flame me if you want "nethila" but im not going to sit idly by on my ass while the zone leagues get ruined because your afraid to ban someone because his "lag is fine" even though hes spiking across the map. And although I might be a "Simple <ER>" I can still tell the difference between lag and unnatural lag, its not hard after being a warbird in this zone for so many years.

This forum is for bring information and attention to specific problems that are not personal in nature. Eke's thread was about being banned, he wanted to complain and challenge the ban but either didn't care or didn't know to use the email.

This is so the staff forum doesn't turn into a trash talk 2.0 with a staffer flavor to it and you know it would happen, staffers are authoritarian figures and every 14-30 year old in real life or on this fake virtual enviroment loves to shit on their lawn, real or not. This is not ego or fascism, it's a problem with the culture of this board.

I personally do not see a lot of staffers abusing their powers but each and every one of them is axed or suspended, even for the smallest things like fucking with their % sounds. As for banning I think since Rudy took over bang oping we have had the strongest policies and most knowledge and training ever, unforunately we have to deal with new things like CE and old cheats like speed hacks and a whole ton of other hard to track cheats.
Yes some innocent people get banned. Crying victim and hating staff might look fashionable but be more realistic; you're paying nothing, we're paid nothing and the ability detect cheating is very hard. Basicly what I'm saying is be more cooporative and understanding and you'll have almost no problems in the future.


I don't want to start an argument but if there is to be a campaign against cheating then maybe a SMod or at least someone with banG should be leading it and maybe this is something Wark should have brought up privately with staff so we could get some new policy or training for Mods. People get banned almost everyday but taking the stand of banning for the smallest spike and without a strong consensus is foolish. Moderators need to get better at detecting it with the limited tools we have but I don't think anything should change in the methods used.

if vys was cheating and i saw it i would axe him..and if i have evidence i will. but he is not jumping around the screen ridiculously or invisigreening people outside of green zone. If someone tells me what cheat to look for I'll look for it, but until then youre just running your mouth that "HE USES CE OMG" without any explanation of what he uses it to do.

dont take my responses wrong.. im 100% against cheaters and i wish all of them are banned. but it takes a lil more than *tinfo and *lag to tell a cheater. i personally experienced a pixelhack cheater a few days ago in a jd.. the guy went through the little holes and bounce funny whenever he hits a corner.. did a cheater call and the instant a staff comes in, he was subbed. its not that staff doesnt want to do anything about it, its the fact that they cant ban without seeing by themselves.. alot of times the cheater turn the hack off when they noticed that others have realized he/she is using a cheat.. going aliased is fine and dandy, but how many staffers out there have aliases that also have powers? only the smods.. that limit the hacker checkings..
