I remember posting in a thread like this a couple of years ago, but what the hell... I'll do it again.

My last name is Jones and my friends nicknamed me Jonesy a long time ago. Naturally when I needed to come up with a name to play Subspace I used that name. The name Jonesy was taken so I used Jonesy. (with a period) and luckily picked up Jonesy (w/ out a period), a year later, on a name reset.


For a while I had the name Tim (when I was on War Angels), but I somehow lost it when I took a break from the game and came back to see that some other dude was using it in TW. The guy who gave it to me probably did a

I wanted something simple, yet unique that other people weren't using... Back in 1994 to play Warcraft 2 on something called Kali. I came up with MetalKid. Metal as in armor, kid beacause I was 12 at the time. I also liked how it could be reduced to MK, which could stand for Mortal Kombat and MK type bombs. I've stuck with it ever since (11 years now... quite sad, just under half my life).
