What is up with all the recent general 'Happy Birthday' posts in this forum? I don't mean to be a curmudgeon, but aren't those posts more appropriate in the 'General Forum'?
First, if people want to wish someone a happy birthday why not just send them a private message? Second, if there is some driving need to make someone a public message, why do it in the SSCU Trench Wars forum? Thirdly, there is already a feature at the bottom of the site calling out birthdays for anyone who might care enough about the topic. Fourthly when you over 25, birthdays aren't something that you are happy about, many people dread them. And finally, if we make a thread for every person's birthday each day, this forum will soon fill up with these threads.
