bullshit, hosting quality decreased in quantity and quality. ive heard its better in other time zones but that aint helping me. and dont even bother about a cheater call if its just a tk in pub. if there werent some matrix running every day id have quit already.

Considering Dock> and PriitK seem to be missing in action, unless they are around aliased, the zone is in the hands of the smods at the moment. In some ways that's good, but others, it just isn't.

Play some other zones then. TW is not the only zone out there ... and it def doesn't have the same type funness as other places such as Powerball or SVS (if you can get in on some pracs). TW is just the most accessible and provides a quick fix ... that's why it has the highest population imo.

For a zone of its size, I would say trench is run relatively smoothly. In absolute terms I disagree with some of the bureaucracy but I understand and accept that it is necessary.

I think most of the staffers are ok, except for some staffer! I even heard some staffers don't like that person, so I hope PL does the job and axe him!!
Also I think nycle should be <ER> again, he is one of the best <ER>'s ever :wub: and cool koen for DEAN!!!!

Soupero even that it was a joke, Cool Koen goes to uni and is only online at weekends.

Nycle is a great moderator, he still hosts time after time, and there are other ER's doing good enough job to keep TW happy and enjoyed.

PL/Mantra doesnt kick a staffmember from staff because some other staffmember might not like them, only if there is a real reason to do it, for example abusing. Also PL/Mantra wont recruit people who they think arent capable of doing the quotas and improving the zones on their own way and help the TW community.

I agree and disagree. Quality, sure its fun when the game is hosted correctly, but if u cant host a decent event do something at least like hockey or hunt, damn thats easy. Quantity, definately..wont be fun to play 1 or 2 events a night.

i miss rodge, hes the only person i could spend 5 minutes doing nothing pming each other back and forth the word rawr...sigh the good old days...
probably the only 2 staff members i really life the most has to be dr. coiff <ER> and jacklyn (i mean these 2 are so active in their work, granted that coiff hosts the same events [ufc,freezetag], but at least hes doing it on a nightly basis. some staff dont do shit, and some host stupid ass events not saying names but like a certain person who hosts this only event to spawn ppl and always wins cause they are elite with their partner rhymes with jim, and only newbies comes to play, and yes i am a newbie $#@!.)

On another note, why have an obscene on/off command if its not going to be used for good use?! i mean u cant have one or the other. if we say it and the ppl who dont like it wont hear it cause of obscene, dont warn and ban us for it if they got the choice to not hear it. honestly a lot of zones dont do shit about it (mostly cause they have a filter already).

and on comparing other zones. this zone is more active than most, probably the only other zone that comes close to it has to be mg, cause when i go there to play football, they host a lot in that zone, and they have like 10 adverts just for 1 event. and HZ isnt that bad either, but they are being picky on only being a zone just to play hockey. they had lots of other events in there that was fun but they wont do it now fearing that ppl are leaving cause hockey isnt played but infact more are coming because of its other league like football league.

just last week 2dragons spent probably an hour helping me boot up an old computer of mine, hes a great staffer. when i first joined twdev qan was always helping me out. when i joined staff i got to know jacklyn and pl a bit more and now they help me out when i need stuff.

oh and to answer your question crazi, the only zones with staff comparable to TW are WZ, Chaos zone, and the tiny zones with population of 0-10, zones like DSB and EG or MG never respond to me when I am in there and do help calls, I've only seen like 1 event hosted in EG and maybe 3 in DSB when i've dropped by to play

on the whole, I have no major complaints about the staff and how this zone is run, especially as opposed to other zones
ex: dsb has a bot that zones a periodic message with a url where you can apply for staff, they have a pub bot that keeps freq 0 in ships 1-4 and freq 1 in ships 5-8 that isnt always up, and if you're caught in a wrong ship they spec you and tell you what is going on. at one point they just auto-banned me for it.

imo there are a couple things that could be modified to improve some things, but again, on the whole it seems to go pretty smoothly.

I think TW staff is a pretty good unit.

Overall, they do a nice job. Are they always perfect? No. But who is?
