On what grounds can a person be banned?
Or where can i find when a staffer has the authority to ban someone? What are the rules on banning people?
If someone can tell me where to find this all, i would apreciate it.
    Enlighten me.
If there are no rules made for that or whatever, shouldn't there be rules for it, when and when not to ban... like a standard procedure.

    Thanks in advance.

There are procedures for Moderators to follow. Generally for things not related to cheating (CE, Pixel, extreme lag abuse, Gashi ect..) but are still consider illegal here a warning is given. That warning lasts for a certain amount of time and if found offending again you can be banned without being warned again. It is active for 1 week although some have suggested making it a random value (or not know to playerbase) within a reasonable time frame would cut down on a lot of bullshit here.

You can report players using ?cheater PlayerName and What he/she is doing. Asking a ZH/ER also for help in getting a Moderator or to watch a player is another way.

Ban length is based around the type of offense and weather it was the first offense, second offense, third ect.. with the length cumilating for each ban. This is also active for a specific ammount of time, for how long i am not sure but my best guess would be 1 week to a month at the most.

Rudy is the local banG Op for Trench Wars and checks local bans and checks complants/appeals and issues network bans for local cheaters.

Cheating is a 1 year network (SSC) ban.

That's about it. I don't think the procedure information is given out to players but i'll try to answer anything as detailed as I can.

I could tell you what happened, but then i'll get rambled for posting it here instead of using the complaints mail... but of how much use it it to file a complaint against the person that handles the complaint. That's why i'll repeat: Staff is corrupt.

              Intresting.

More then one staffer does have access to the emails but I guess if someone wanted to they could get away with it. Lets just hope the system screens out the shit heads long before the mod-Smod level.

Any idea on how that could change for the better Pjoter?

One higher staff person doesn't even have to be a shit head to be corrupt. When one doesn't like a certain person he can just get away with about anything, from small things like: speccing players during events and not let them back in cus game already started.. to bigger things like giving instant warning or ban without a person really knowing he is doing something wrong.

And i have really no idea how to screen out the shit heads long before mod-smod level since there are already enough shit heads in those positions who have abused more then once and will just continue doing so. Although there are certain ppl that still try to do their jobs correct but most of them still horribly fail at it.

Ill just tell why i got banned, and you can see why i am mad... I got banned for lagging... just normall lag. Caused by: i think my brother playing WoW on an other comp. and me refusing to spec since i could play by the laglimits of the bot. Either fuckin tighten those laglimits but don't go banning people that lag a bit but can stay in. and yes, my lag was like: 250 current 270 average, 130 low 760 high 0.5 0.1

But next time i, and everyone else in the arena see's a person spike like mad, while he can stay in, I can report him... and he has to spec and if that doesn't happen i know for a fact staff is corrupt and they all hate me and just pester me cause i am so much better then them in every single thing i do except for the fact they have more power in a 2d spaceshipgame with corrupt staff which they are a part of.

The following is a 2.5 minute sample of timestamp data accessed by the command *tinfo. Each row represents 5 seconds before a timestamp is made on your PC in relation to the server. Others would have heard of it before if they've read about the Sika Saga on SSForums. It reads as thus:

What moderators are to pay attention to is the last Diff column.
The deviation between one row to the next on any regular player should not deviate by any more than 10. The result of tinfo spikes can be seen as short, instantaneous movements in any direction including rotation, tanking of bullets, and other oddities normally associated with extreme lag. You can incur a spike in tinfo due to other programs running in the background, such as media players, instant messengers and practically anything else that consumes noticable PC resources including peer to peer file sharing. But if you pay attention to the frequency at this sample spikes, it indicates that there is a massive amount of resources being used.

That was one *tinfo reading from you, Pjotter. I have another half a dozen readings logged at the time, and can be available to you upon request. After you explained that you had both winamp and a messenger running, I did hope that turning them off would solve your problem. It did not. It persisted right up until the time I had to ban you. Additionally, you seemed only concerned with overriding my *spec command and returning to the base game in which everyone was complaining about you. You cannot be permitted to play in such circumstances, and your disregard of my comments and the severity of your issue indicated to me that you would not actively solve the problem at hand until you were forced to.

In short, whether or not I believe you were deliberately using something to cause these spikes is irrelevant. What matters is that if you actually weren't, you must fix or replace that piece of shit computer before you return, or you will be rebanned.

Now, ask anyone on the team you were playing against if I'm at all being corrupt in my approach to you instead of just jumping aboard the abuse wagon and riding it all the way to Mutinyville.

                          =P Nicely said Spikey..

mmhmm.. It sucks a person cant see his own tinfo, but Pjot even if you're lagging unnormally, at 250's if your normal ping is about ~120, you shouldnt play.

It's for sure you have some problems with your computer or connection, or that you're cheating (downloading, uploading etc). Your tinfo on that occassion was horrible ;P Jumping +-20 about all times.

if Rudy did tell you to spec or shut down the programs you had running on the background you really should have done it ;( Not that you're dumb or anything, but it doesnt take that much time to shut them.

3:Wax> Tummy sticks is the situation, commonly referred to as a game, in which two erect men cuddle closely and face-to-face causing their two erect penises, or sticks, to push upwards between their stomachs, or tummys.
3:Wax> Sticks combine with tummys, hence the name "tummy sticks."

Some I agree, the demotions haven't been handed out for a bit.

In all systems where you have to place some trust in people there will always be corrupted people seeking power and control. Maybe having the ban process more transparent would help.

When a staffer does ask you to fix the problem it would be a show of good faith to stop and listen and try to resolve it. If you don't I think it does send a strong signal that you do not want to fix the lag problem or that you don't care about it. In almost all cases I've read or heard of where a ban is needed the player did not stay in spec or listen to the Mod.

Are you running SP2 XP Proj? I can help you to optimize your connection if you need help.
