Look, if you got banned and you were innocent, how much MORE shitty would u feel? There are alot of things that didn't add up and we can't just ban due to some idiot ass prizing when EVERYone in that arena was getting prized.

This problem stems alot deeper than most of you think.

I personally think when we do find cheaters and its clear as day, we should perm ban them. Any name they ever come on, perm netbanned. Any squad that plays their alias, ban the entire squad from twd/twl and at least a week ban.

why was this guy unbanned anyway? clearly he cheated, and how is it possible for another player to give him shields? only staff can do that, and upper staff at that. That means either lethargy cheated, or upper staff helped him cheat, hence abusing their powers. Now explain to me how either way, this guy should be unbanned? Why would a staff member just give the guy cheats out of nowhere, unless they were colaborating with lethargy? on top of that, why would the guy continue to play and say "i didnt know?" stupidest excuse ive ever heard, asside from someone saying "my modem got struck by lightning" which actually has been said before to staff, to get themselves unbanned (which to me seems quite impossible, but i guess staff believe otherwise?)

in any case, this clearly shows why TW will be dead in the next year or two. Cheating is allowed it seems, and staff do everything in their power to keep it going, and encourage it. Great job guys, your officially the worst staff group ive honestly ever seen in this zone, in seven years of playing.

Why even bother reporting anyone for cheating even when at least 40 people see it and report it, and screenshots etc are taken of it people are still let off the hook. Staff, mine as well post a link to download CE in a thread and make it a sticky, since you encourage cheating so much.

Bots can prize for themself. This doesn't happen often, but sometimes a Bot can keep prizing a prize loaded earlier, without having the prize module locked, or being locked itself. It's a bug in the bots. I have no idea why it happends, though i suspect that it's caused by staffers who do not unlock modules but just send bots home. I found out about this when hosting Boki. I noticed the bot was prizing super after 12 minutes of game time (I was windowed so I didn't notice the gazilion of bullets). After unlocking the bot (after the game was over), it was still prizing super. The only sollution to this problem is killing the Bot. I'm not saying with this message this bug is to blame, I have liltle or no knowledge of the case discussed here.

What does fill me with happyness is the amazing attitude of some of the players of trenchwars, hence the quote. I wouldnt be suprised if the majority of staff dont read these forums, with this kind of useful information.

Exalt, it has been stated nice and clear that there was not enough evidence of Lethargy cheating. Moreover, Distort just said the prize module wasn't on, therefore the prize commands could not be recorded in the log. (from what I understand) Just get over it.
