The Ultimate 1v1 Javelin Tournament

Let it be known, this is Amputate's idea.

Starting this sunday April 30th, several staffers will be hosting 16 player 1v1 javelin tournaments in ?go javtourny, everyday for 16 days. These staffers are: Reaver, Evasive <ER>, and Kim.

Monday: 3PM EST
Tuesday: 5:30PM EST
Wed: 6:30PM EST
Thursday: 5:30PM EST
Friday: 2PM EST
Saturday: After the last TWL game (either on the :30 or on the hour)
Sunday: After the last TWL game (either on the :30 or on the hour)

Tournaments will run from April 30th to May 15th. One tournament a day. The winner from each tournament gets a spot in the final javelin tournament played the immediate sunday after May 15. You qualify for the final javtourny only by winning it. Players who have won, are not elligible to play in the qualifying javtournys for the remaining days that javtourny is held.

16 games of javtourny, first 16 players to pm the ref get in the game (just like regular javtourny), each player that wins the qualifying javtourny match exceeds to finals, get it?

and btw, we are going to change around the schedules eachday maybe so everyone will have a chance to play. we'll post it later

Just so everyone knows we're going to edit the starting times so that everyone get's to play. Some days it will start earlier and some days later, but I'm going to talk to Kim when he get's on to agree on times. First 16 players to pm the referee will be playing in the tourny. Yadda yadda yadda :chris:

What KIM MEANS (which i hope or ill look like an idiot). There will be 16 games hosted. The winner of each of the 16 games will go on to the "FINAL" which has 16 people in it. these 16 people will DUEL 1v1 in the quarter finals. Then half is remoevd, only 8 left!!! quarter finals are taken place...THEN SEMIS!!! 4teams, HOLY SHIT, 2 teams left in the finals!!!! Winner = Champion of Champions.

The last two lines I added in, but thats what I had planned anyways. I'll edit my initial post to include these times. As amp and reav said, this would encompass a larger population range for those who cannot make it at a certain time each day.

I think it's a good idea, but this is just another bragging rights game for someone who loves to spend 45 minutes in a duel to 10.

Personally, I will not "make plans" to come to this. If i am in tw at the time, i might try to get in....but whats the point. Whats to say you even get in, Amputate, if their are 70 newbies ready to pm kim b4 you?

I dunno, if you really want competition, have everyone who wants to play say "sign me up" on this thread, and have yourself/kim/any other decent jav PICK the 16 people. w/e. If its everyday and totally different 16-players play then i can see where you are coming from
