Everyday, the SAME arenas and events get hosted. Hunt, bug, twisted, pallies, etc etc. Please look at this list.

Is there any reason we play the same arenas over and over again. Most of this I havent seen and would like to play in. I just think it is time we look at that list and start hosting those things, because there are so many, but yet we stick to the same 15 or so.

and so many fun events are beeing forgetten. I want to play I think it was astroball where you haveto shoot the bot and when it crosses the other teams line the other team gets killed by robobot! Yeah alot of events have been forgotten

Your talking about war of the worlds duel though i cant remember arena name, and yeh that was fun, id like to see cstrike hosted more often, thats a great event.

That event list is missing a lot of arenas. But it's true, many of them haven't been hosted for an extremely long time.

gotta get some people into ?go journey takes a decent amount of people (My theory was four teams of eight was best, but that's subjective) but it was my favorite sub game of TW when it was done well.

I know alot of the newer arenas arent on that list, but there is a whole lot of events on that list that could be hosted, kind of boring playing same ones, dont you think?

I think one of the problems is, that the events hosted are the most frequently asked for, the other arena's won't get people in and if they do, everyone tells the host that they suck because they didn't like it.

The shiz they host a lot are just the events that most people like to play. But I agree that once in a while staff could host something like minotaur or such.

I think events should be hosted more often that allow players to succeed who are not what you would call 'good' at ss.

i.e. ?go art and ?go acro.

this provides a nice environment for people who have been playing for a couple years and still suck.

For many arena's you need +20 or so, players to get a real game.

Actually staff has a complete events list.

But mainly the events which are popular, such as pallies, hockey, deathmatch etc etc etc. get hosted, because people can and will play on them.

Many people dont like ?go art for example because only 1 gets to draw at time, takes ages for the picture to be guessed, and not even tenth of the player amount in ?go art when its hosted, gets to draw.

Although in the end, I agree other events should be hosted more, but some events would become so bad turnouts (5-10 players) that there's no point.
