      I thought it was nice aswell, but from a guys who has never seen nor played this game point of view; the beginning is way too long! 40 seconds of just text and different ships...could be really boring for someone. Or just too much time to get bored, and click the next youtube movie :P

      My two euro cents...otherwise a very nice job! :thumbsup:

            People need to know that there's more than one zone!
            I thought about the first words to come up in the commercial to be "over 30 zones to choose from". I took it out because I believe a person that doesnt have any idea what SS is wouldn't even understand 'zone' in the context of the game, which would leave no importance to them. The viewers of this would not be able to distinguish one zone from another anyway, and the commercial would be too long if I had to name different zones and show a clip of each of them.
            The only thing in there that people might notice is the website at the end, and it can't look too cluttered.
            This could be a good idea though, take out trenchwars.org at the end and just keep subspacedownloads.com
            Ditch the Mario. That stuff be copyrighted.
            Is it? do you think I should show quick footage of another arena? if so which one? btw, the music I use in this is also copyrighted...no way to really get around this...

            As for most of you saying there needs to be more action and gameplay, I somewhat disagree. A commercial is quick and to the point in its climax. If there was more action and gameplay, the video would loose its 'ad' or 'commercial' status and simply be game footage with music in the background which could also bore the viewer. Quick shots of gameplay will perhaps urge the viewer to experience the game themselves(I know if I had never played SS before, just watching a bunch of 2d ships in a base trying to get a flag wouldnt get me to play the game). As for the beginning of the commercial I can try to cut that down as much as I can and we can see what it looks like.

                Definitely an arena with some different graphics, maybe get a bunch of people in one of the rally arenas, maybe pocketarmy, or spa...just something that looks visually different is my opinion.

                              Yeah, nice advert. I agree on more gameplay being shown and other zones too.
