If you haven't read the Trench Wars news on the site, I'll explain it here. When you play in Publics you now have the option of ?scorereseting yourself. This means you have go for that 4:1 record or whatever you feel has good bragging rights.

However, this means that players in Public may decide to go for record more, rather than help the team capture base. This can have a negative impact on the basing if players are just spending time chasing each other in spawn.

So, let me know and upper staff for that matter what you think of this idea? It's only a test to see if we can get more players back into Public. So let me know your thoughts about this.

Also: It may seem werid talking about already implemented changes, but I'm trying to get such changes and information before we announce it, so we can have a discussion. I had a chat with some other upper staffers about sudden changes. :]

Well it depends. There are those who show off their kill/death records and those who actually play and doesnt care about dying for their team etc.

I think if you implement this option, you would kill the basing players. (what you mentioned). Besides, in my opinion, the kill/death record, rating, points etc doesnt mean much and shouldnt be a way to judge how good you play.

I believe that helping the team and getting a 1:1 ratio is better than going spawning/solo-ing and having 5:1.

Just my opinion, I guess you could test it out for 2 weeks and see what happens. :P

as long as its not too drastic of a change, shoot first ask questions later seems to be a good philosophy here. It seems to me that whatever is discussed on forums or brought up as an idea sometimes wont get changed, regardless of how strongly people are in favor of something. I mean we've seen plenty of changes, but it just seems like some things get ignored.
