Need clarification

So I was in a room full of people, all making fun of each other.
Topic turned to Oen Izan, and his name. Somebody kept asking him if he was from israel, I pointed out that his name was neo nazi spelled backwards, and I said he might be one of those jewish people that hate jews. Right after I said that F22 Raptor gave me a warning and threatened to ban me. Was what I said really racist?
After I asked him what was racist about my comment, he said "the j word".
So saying jewish or jew is now grounds for a ban? Should be we call them the chosen people instead?
He also said if I said the word again I'd be banned right away. This is ridiculous.
Are news reporters in israel total racists? Are jewish people who refer to themselves as such racists?
This makes no sense.

I'm getting sick and tired of you wannabe staffers posting those god damn emails in every topic. If this guys story is true, he has a legitimate complaint. He is asking for clarification, and this is the TW Staff forum, the perfect place to get clarification. Don't be a bunch of robots and throw the emails at him when he is simply asking staff if this is a real representation of racism. I think sometimes if people just answered the persons question instead of referring them to emails that take staff days/weeks to respond to, people would be much more satisfied. Just a suggestion.

Well Voth, if Kolar counts Vys' thread as whining of a ban, then he counts this thread as a whining of the warning aswell.

Meaning he should use the complaint address.

Atleast by asking/complaining trough the address he doesnt get me or someone else here sending these addresses and no fighting will occur.

(And it's a personal issue considering this threads subject is about the warning)

Anyway, if you're telling the truth about the story and that's what really happened, then yeah, that seems like a pretty dumb warning. The word "Jew" isn't a racist word. It really depends on the context in which you used it. If you go "Hey dickhead, you're a big jew" then yeah, I can see them warning you. If you just said something like "My grandfather was a jew" then I don't see what's wrong with it...

And I was actually laughing in a chat when people were fighting and J words were flying around.

EDIT: And I'm pretty tired, along the years, seeing people whining of their warns and bans on these forums. It's just irritating. These subjects have been brought up multiple times, and people never learn, so I just decide to post the addresses because I'm tired of seeing these stupid posts.
