To maintain a strong presence of automation in the zone, to ensure smoother operations, such as Hosted Events, Trench Wars Leagues and Tourny. While the Bot System in Trench Wars plays a major role in the zone, communication between Staff and the Player Base is essential. Therefore staff are to converse with players when it is necessary (For Example; ?help calls/Hosted Events/Complaints etc) or at their own will.

In accordance with the Zone Objective, I think it's necessary to keep the automation in Trench Wars going. However, I do agree that we are spreading ourselves thin with all these new arenas, and we need to get more players playing together in less arenas to increase the competition. That's why I suggest we do something like remove ?go javs/javduel for a weekend and maybe that'll bring players back to baseelim?

At the moment I'm discussing with staff about RoboHelp. Sure it's useful, but I think we can cut alot of the !tells out, or even all of them. Most of them are fairly basic, plus if we got rid of the !tells but wrote down all the information somewhere, it would make our <ZH>s more knowledgeable. Most of staff are pretty good I think when it comes to answering calls without tells, but I think we can increase their brainpower!!

Events are something I haven't got too much planned on the horizon with other stuff I'm up to, but I would like to do something about hosting. Perhaps if there was a new event that everyone liked, we could use that as a 'special event' or something. Just my thoughts.

How about instead of making certain games weekend-only again, we bring back old classics for weekend events instead of new games. Like a flagging weekend, we could have like a ?go journey, ?go predator, ?go raceball, ?go warzone, not only would this promote ER's to host games that cant' be hosted with bots, but it would also promote older events to be hosted, and also teach newbies who would come to an event if it was advertises a few times that yes, sometimes they do have to use their brain a little for an event.

          ...

          Mooty?

That is at least the third time you've cited the Zone Objectives that you wrote. Generally, when you reference another point of view in a debate, you are basically using their expertise and clout to support your side. (IE, in a debate about Internet technology, citing Senator Ted Stevens wouldn't last long because he has a history of not knowing anything about the Internet. Quoting Vint Cerf would be wiser.) So, as far as I can tell, since you wrote the zone objectives, the only clout you gain are from those who think some other higher staff member in TW wrote it, otherwise you are just saying quite verbosely that you agree with yourself.
People who are rather more than six feet tall and nearly as broad across the shoulders often have uneventful journeys. People jump out at them from behind rocks then say things like, "Oh. Sorry. I thought you were someone else."

You know, it would be funny if someone knocked a bot together than required players to answer a question about the rules before playing.

This is balance zombies. Humans get 5 minutes to get safe before zombies are released. Zombies have 15 minutes to kill as many humans as possible. Any human who dies becomes a zombie. Humans hiding in safes will be spec'ed. If any humans live after the zombie's 15 minutes are up, the humans win. -Kyace

            *Player enters*
(TWbot2) In order to play, you must answer this question: "Hiding where will get you spec'ed?"
            :TWBot2:In safes
            (TWBot2) Correct, have fun.

            EULAs for events! :P

I don't think you get what the mission statement represents. He's not referencing "another point of view" to the debate, he's referencing the zone's official policy. He may have written it, but it's the official statement of what the zone represents. The mission statement is like the zone's constitution. It's more than just words that he himself wrote, it's also the zone's official stance. The whole point of creating the mission statement would be to cite it in discussions such as this.

Its only his official policy as head of public relations. It has no more power than what comes from him.

And when James Madison was president, he wasn't allowed to cite the Bill of Rights when discussing policy because he was the one who drafted it? You still don't get it. Moot may have written it, but it's not "his" official policy. He wrote it for the zone and as such, it is the zone's policy.

Do people really think Moot just pulled the mission statement out of his head and that it's just a statement of his personal opinion? He may have written it, but he wrote it on behalf of staff, and the zone accepts his mission statement as its official policy. It's like the zone's constitution.

I was going to have raceball hosted last weekend, it was shceduled and everything. No one hosted it.

Also Izor to respond to your question:

Izor> How many of those bots are on at a given time

Those were all the bots basically on when I was on late last night fucking around with this forum.

First, Moot did not write the entire Mission Statement. Second, it is a Mission Statement and it's entire, and only, purpose in life is to be referenced.

You think he made it up on his own without approval or even the knowledge of those above him? You don't think Dock or Priitk gave it a once over first before it got uploaded to TW.org?

He is head of PR, so he could upload whatever he wants to TW.org himself.

Now, below I have created some objectives for this zone from some of my own ideas, and some from staff and players. I would like to share them with you all to get some feedback of what I could add (probably word it better too). They probably seem pretty obvious to you all, but perhaps not to newer players. Ok, here they are...
