Baseelim is slowly slipping away from our fingers =(
I remember 2 years ago belim was always filled with 30+ people..
I just came on, hoping to play some belim and what do I see?

Baseelim has 7 people in it.

The other day, crazi made an ad for baseelim.. people came flocking to baseelim and there was about 50 people in the arena.

What is something we can do to save our beloved baseelim?!

Baseelim was dead with the old map, with new map, it was revived for few weeks, now it's dying again.

I heard kthx is working on some kind of baseelim maps similar to javs2, we'll see what other things can be done.

Dont tell TWDev/staff to "do something". Do something yourself.

A good bit of the reason for belim having less people is Tourny. The automated tourny drew a lot of ppl away from baseelim.

i feel that no one cares about baseelime nor elim anymore.. haha

i always see like 10+ people in baseelim only

and for elim a bit more.. a little bit over 20..

tourny has no real effect on baseelim. baseelim and tourny used to run side by side fine. The problem is the streak and bar warp in ?go javs.

Baseelim needs a bar warp much much more than ?go javs and streaks!!!!

think i think most people hate about baseelim is when u die it take forever to get back into base. Personally thats bores the fuck outta me which is why i rarly play baseelim.

The other problem is the baseelim alert in alerts chat that says baseelim it started always seems to appear AFTER baseelim has accutally started so u ?go baseelim then u cant get in very annoying.

Baseelim doesn't need a bar warp, what a dumb proposal. What if some person is flying around in base and all of a sudden, someone gets warped into base...right behind him, and shoots him for an easy kill...then you take out the idea of skill and replace it with luck.

Also, dying is punishment. If you don't like running from spawn to base, don't die...get good dodging skills.

And, the baseelim alerts don't appear after baseelim. You should stop jacking off and go to baseelim as soon as you see the alert. Not ten minutes after, and expect to get in.

Sorry, these "reasons" raised by Doc Flabby are just stupid. Get someone with at least a few year's of knowledge on the issue. Honestly, no one comes out to baseelim because the skill level decreased. Baseelim and elim have been getting more and more newbies, which really has the opposite effect of attracting veterans...first, who wants to die to lucky shit shots, secondly, how can one get good from killing a shitty player. You should impose a 100-200 hour rule limit on baseelim, then you'd raise the skill level, you're only taking a risk with how many people play baseelim. But, once you start seeing baseelims with 4-5 veterans, rather than 15-20 newbies, you'll see more people with enough hours playing baseelim...because once again, baseelim would be a challenge

I remember when shark was a super-staff ship and I would fly around in it and repel like no other. SERIOUSLY, noone cares about your reminiscing. If you honestly want more people in Baseelim, put up fliers around your school advertising it. I'm sure that will work.

But, once you start seeing baseelims with 4-5 veterans, rather than 15-20 newbies, you'll see more people with enough hours playing baseelim...because once again, baseelim would be a challenge

If base elim had 15-20 newbs in it, it wouldnt be dead.....in fact i would go there more often. It would be fun....Currently ?go javs is filled with these 15-20 newbs....

Maybe because i havnt played this game as long as most people i can give you an insite to what is like for players who arnt "vets". Dying is punisment enough, i'm trying to get a good rec in elim. having to then make the very very long journy back to base is boring and tedious, especially when someone spawns behind u and kills u before u even get into base.

People are used to the easyness of barwarp in ?go javs. Removing bar warp & streaks from ?go javs and using them in baseelim would revive the arena I think....Bar warp would have to be more inteligent and remain optional though so as to prevent camping :P I think streaks in both elims would be fun.

WTF? Getting to base doesn't take long at all, just boost into what may seem a safe spot, if you die, you're a newb, and it's your own fault!

depends where u spawn.

If you spawn near the bottom of the map it takes ages.....
