    Name Reseting

    i was wondering...what is the point of user names who were offline for more than a year?
    its a waste of quality names, and im pissed to see some of the names i usually identify my self in other games be taken by a douche that didnt play for years.

    what are the chances of reseting some unused names and restricting a creation of user names to about 5 per IP address?

    same goes for squad names

      There is one of these threads every two weeks. Listen man, unless you're going to get a hold of PriitK or Ghost Ship (highly unlikely), and present your concerns (I doubt they would listen), and have a competent solution (I doubt you have one), then NOTHING WILL CHANGE. Look at it this way -- if you had to go into the military for a year or more, would you want to come back to your name being reset and some asshole running around posing as you? Some people just don't get it.

        how do you determine which names were owned by hording name traders, and which were owned by old players who may have gone to the army for a year or so?

        there's no "good" way to reset old names that have high usage

                I didn't need my name for 2 years, I was in Russia.

                Yet, it was still here when I came back, and I was glad.

                However, the one I really want hasn't logged on for more than 3 or 4 years.

                And again, if someone had already taken my name, then I probably wouldn't have come back to play this silly game.

                There are plenty of pros and cons.

                        Tons of cool names are hoarded ..but if you network with the right players you can track down some of the names you want Worked for me.
