lol, dont hate me because i ask questions =) I just brainstorm for ideas that will change TW for the better. That is why we have forums, to critique other ppl's ideas and point out the potential/inherent problems.

Yes, it is possible. I will tell you how.

A.) There is a 1/100 chance that the higher ups (Narse, Platinum Halo, PriitK, Ghost Ship, etc) will give the bot the powers of an SSC Biller Operator.
B.) Have players make accounts, have them set their E-Mail account with the bot, too, so that when a trade is made, the E-Mail is changed to the new player so there can't be any ?lostpw
C.) Have the players set !tradename Name: Password with player NAME2. Have the bot make sure that both players will trade "NAME1 for NAME2".
D.) Have whatever command it is to set the password and email of a player in the SSC Biller assigned to the bot, and have it all set up

^^^ the tradebot just switches the set passwords and emails from "Chair" to "Window" and "Window" to "Chair"

There would have to be some sort of email check to make sure that the player using the name actually is the legit owner of the name.

But yeah, giving the bot biller access was what I was thinking of too.

You could allow the bot to check Ip's to verify that the name to be traded is being traded from the proper Ip address.... kinda like how TWD Ops checks IP addresses for double squaders.

I guess that explains why they wouldn't respond to me when I asked them to change the email linked to my account.

I admit I don't know much about the ?setemail command, but why wouldn't it be possible to enable that command only for sysops?

Only a few SSC Network Operators have gotten the access to the user database for serving people who have lost their password/account. (Mackieman is one of them)

Sysops of TW only have sysop access to their own zone. That you are sysop doesn't mean you have any power to the biller. It's a unwritten protocol that sysops of SSC zones get level 1 access to the SSC biller allowing them to ban and netban. Read about the biller commands on shanky.com/server/commands.html.

Imagine what would happen if every sysop of a SSC zone gets the power to delete/change user names. We would have alot of Priitks running around in no time.

Actually, there are several SSC Operators who are also Billing Operators who can change the e-mail address and password of an account.

The ones I can think of off the top of my head are: PriitK, Ghost Ship, SVS, Mackieman, Wonderer, kewlair, BlueGoku
