Staff Meeting for October

We have a private forum and other methods so no it isn't about informing staff members. This thread is about finding out what the players want done in this zone, what they think needs to be fixed..

It's a chance for whatever you want to get some air time with a majority of the people who run this zone. Take it or leave it.

okay well then just say 'please have ur concerns inbefore this time' and not say 'we really want to have more structure etc' i dont really care i feel that (i thought kim had made the thread because of his last one) he's bringing to much attention to himself. that oh he has started these staff meetings. i dont care as long as something good comes from it.
yea wit what kawrae said do something about that, fuck the staffers that think black is a racist word and get rid of them. and crazi too hes such a dick. its okay for some people in his mind to let things go but to others no. i havent really played this game and all since i started school but it really seems like its goin downhill. do something to get the population up. start a fundraiser for something that will help this zone prosper.

Staff Meeting: Oct 15, 3pm EST

There will be a staffer meeting at the date/time above. We're going for a little more structure to the meeting this time which hopefully will be more productive then the last.

As the Head of Public Relations I'd like to know what you, the community, would like to be brought up during the meeting. You can post below or email me at KolarTW@gmail.com before October 15th.

Assuming the meeting went as planned, what was discussed? Anything new the community can look forward to? (Since you asked for our contribution and all)

Yup not a problem.

1. Changes to the 12 hour rule. Check Dameon's thread in the TWD Forums, Reaver should be providing more information soon.

-Only TWD Ops and SMods can cancel your game if, and only IF, both squad captains agree to it.

-SMods and TWD Ops can not cancel a game their squad is involved in.

-If you squad captain dissolves your squad there is no wait time between switching to another squad.

-How long you've been joined to your squad has an impact on your wait time between joining another squad. Again more information will come from Reaver.

-Other ideas thrown around but not implemented as far as I know were changes to reciving a win from a forefit. The idea is that to win by forefit the squad would need to field 4 players at least. This may cut down on the ability of squads or a rouge Captain/Assistants to get away with an easy win. It's not cheating but it's still something that shouldn't happen when no TWD Op or SMod is around and SquadA and SquadB both agree to cancel the game. You can still void a game as normal by speccing all players on both squads.


2. Technical changes to RoboHelp. ZHs can still take calls once the bot sends an automated response.
-Other ideas: Delaying RoboHelp from taking calls so ZHs can get them first.

3. Procedural changes for Event Refs and Zone Helpers. Nothing really worth public interest. Just reaffirming current rules.


For now there's no future meeting scheduled. I will make another thread if one is called but you can still email me, drop me a ?message in game or just PM me anytime if you have any problems, questions, concerns..
