The forums are for public discussion and debate. Such delicate incidents as staff members losing their marbles and getting axed is not a topic that can be debated or discussed by the public when they are not privvy to the details surrounding such incidents. It may seem that this is a form of oppression, prohibiting the public from discussing something that is red hot with tasty drama. However, we would much rather you discuss something positive rather than dwelling on how zone staff have once again fucked up.
The underlying principle why these threads are being closed is simply because you have two parties each pointing fingers at each other, causing division with those who would side for each of them. We'd much rather this be a whole community, unified in it's goals, divided in it's opinon, but respectful of boundaries.

Blueblaze has received this same message in his infraction notice for reposting closed threads. His intention may not have been to reignite the issue, but the direct refence to a closing comment indicates that is where he got his motivation to create this thread. Please, let it go.

P.S: Gen, There is no command, nor bot function, that can move a player from one arena and place them in another that exists in the Continuum client. Drop it

But you posted it knowing full well it would be used to bypass the locks put on similar threads. And notice I never threaten, I said it would likely be closed when a forum smod or admin. sees it. It would be nice if we could actually have a discussion about policy, if you're looking for someone to blame though since that's what this game and my job is almost completely about these days have a look at your community of "respectable" members first.

I have no intentions of keeping this or other incidences of abuse under wraps, I've informed Trench Wars Staff and waited until everything was done before moving forward with making a public statement. We're going to have to work within the forum rules here and I'm not going to lie and say it sucks, most if not all the rules for this forum were created to make it the better forum it is today.

Proving my point

Kolar, you exactly proved my point, this thread is threatened with removal/locking even though the topic of the thread never specifically mentioned any incidents. Assumptions without knowledge leads to chaotic destruction, which is proven over and over. Not at one point have I made reference to one specific issue, nor have even pointed out to a specific issue as well. Don't destroy the entire thread because some people take assumptions about certain issues. As well, if respectable long time members of this game can make assumptions about certain issues, maybe things shouldn't be so quick to put under wraps and ignore. As well, the point of being a staff member is for the bettering of the game that the public plays. If this game is anywhere successful, there will always be more players than staff members. So, if the people who are effected and exposed to the staff the most have a complaint about the behavior, character, or systematics of the staff, then it would be only logical to hear their word. What causes Continuum to still exist is that it is a game that is fun (whether you find fun in playing or trash talking.) You take away that fun and this game will cease to exist shortly thereafter. It would only be logical to not only hear the word of the people but to listen to what they truly have to say. Simply stated, the commentary of the players in this game is invaluable and whenever the masses declare they're tribulation, they should not be ignored.
