I don't feel that people donating on the basis to get unbanned is a good idea. It defeats the banning process and makes people think they can bribe themselves out of bans. If players don't want a ban they shouldn't be breaking the rules. I also believe that with the new donation process most people will start to respect the game more and refrain from getting banned.

Trying to get banned users to donate through bribes isn't right and I hope this never happens.

Think of it this way, instead of just banning someone for any amount of time. You make the banning lengths longer, (instead of 1 week, say 3 weeks) and if someone doesn't want to wait the three weeks...they can pay a fine not a donation...but a fine, or tax which can go to the server.

They'll do something else to get banned cuz they like to get banned and we can mooch more money off them. Then after x amount of bans(or cash), we can abuse and ban them for no reason, saying they avoided bans or something. $$$

For goats sake, this is a 2d spaceship game, no one would get hurt if someone is unbanned. Besides banning process isn't guarantee to be fair in the 1st place.

If someone can't get unbanned thru so called 'bribery' how can you be sure that he/she wont be using the money and their time do something hurtful against TW. They can eazily change ISP, get another nick or possibly hack into the server.

Also, IMO unban fine should increase in amounts every time you get banned. So you have to pay say $20 for your 1st unban (netban), $30 for your 2nd unban (netban) etc.

You IQ is no better off then Flabin's. If a staff abuses his/her power, the person who got banned can whine and get that staff axed - and that will become the headline on this TW forum, just like the deletable thread.
