Sertifi, you're right.. his main idea was to advertise for base.. but his methods are clearly wrong.. there are things such as "*arena" messages.. He should have just asked a mod or <ER> to run by some arena's and use a simple

That's the very wrong way to get the bot to advertise. Also, the reason why the bot doesn't advertise has been made to prevent exactly such things (advertisement spam).
I rate this as abuse since spamming the bot with commands, getting the game to be restarted over and over is totally pointless. Why try restarting it over and over instead of waiting a while and then try again?
Also, the actions of mikes <ZH> made the bot spam *arena messages and the event chat which is illegal. Even more, staff should never give such an example.

What if game results are being tracked by storing data to a database? It would now be spammed with lots of pointless information thanks to this abuse.

I hope one of the deans would give their opinion on this soon.
