Squad recruiting

Its always a positive thing to have friends help run a squad with you, especially local friends. Personality in my opinion should always be taken into consideration first. Ive had to put up with enough sh*tfaces in squads for 5 people... But you cant just recruit your friends and expect to win, because if your friends are anything like mine, most of 'em suck . It will never work out if you pick really good assholes, or shitty nice guys, so i guess you have to pick a lil bit of both, because people with balanced attributes are hard to come by.

Something nobody's mentioned here that at least I find to be true is that you really shouldn't join a squad that's not any good if your goal is to eventually be on an elite or elite-ish squad. When I first starting playing, I only joined one newbie squad, and that was because a vet was running it, and it just ended up sucking. I was squadless for like six months, and then eventually I got recruited by a decent squad. If I was in charge of recruiting, I'd definitely recruit someone that I'd seen squadless for six months than someone on EagleKings. Just a thought.

Just recruit people you know real well witin the game, the most important part is if they are active in playing. You dont want any inactive fucks that come one once a wekk during matches and suck it up. You want active players who enjoy playing and that woulnt create problems within your squad. Almost every elite squad is built on people who have known each other and thus know how the other people play, teamwork takes time, the best at it have done it for awhile. Look at Elusive, look at -Final- and look at Siege, all great examples of what I'm talking about. Doesent matter your skill, it matters what you can do to help your squad win.

I think the most important is the behaviour of the person. You can have a bunch of the best players but if their ego is too big to fit into the squad it will only make your squad break up.
Pick players that are dedicated to the game and in the end skilll won't matter much because that will grow along while you play.
New recruits must have some kind of bond with the other members, like same interests or 'goals' inside the game or maybe outside the game.
It is nice when people know what the squadrules are and most important are willing to follow those.
Also important might be that your member is willing to achieve something with you and doesn't want to rush his carrier. It is a waste when you recruit someone to play TWD for instance and you practice alot and fit him into the system and after the first loss he runs of to a better squad. That has been and will be a problem, it is very hard to keep good players in a mediocre squad.

I think that is my opinion.

Having people who play the same times you do is one the most important factors. It sucks being on a squad and no one is ever on at the same time. People ask you to duel and you say "well I am the only one on right now" Make sure you got people who play when you do, it is a must!

If you really want to recruit seriously, first of all dont EVER pick your players from elim, for various reasons: A)Many people just dont give a fuck about elim. B)Elim is FFA Not teaming, so it doesnt help much for twdd unless you dont team in twdd...C)Elim is overated.
If you want to find good recruits, you should go and watch twdd matches and look at certain people if they play good write their names down, and when the squad dissolves invite them, or ask them to join if you think the squad your going to make is better than the squad they are already in.
Squads should recruit on skill, but really the good squads recruit by how well the person is known, so old washed up vets join squads that are better than them. Just my opinions and thaughts for you to ponder on...
