I got a funding idea lets deal drugs on the street corners and then we can donate 50% to tw and the other 50% to getting more drugs to sell. Then we might even be able to deal drugs while in tw!!!

Thing with that is that a lot of the TW community are comprised of kids and teenagers (such as I)
And being the 15 year old that I am, I find it difficult to donate to a game that I love but my parents (who completely support me for now) hate that distract me from my "education." So, until I myself can get a credit card of some type (NO idea when that will happen) and when I get a job (which probably will be when I turn 16 in December) I can't donate

But seriously, Telcat- a fee system would very much turn off a lot of players, but donations are different, because the people that really care about the game are giving back to it. And i think the message you get when you enter a pub now might help a little with that as well. The first or second time you see it. It's getting a little old now. But for now, I think donations would cover it.
