Your pingtimes look average for Brazil, and you can't take anything from hopone into account because it doesn't accurately report traffic that goes through it. So it boils down to that 3.8% ploss at originating at hop 5 that is killing you.
At that point, your packets are taking a trip through Spain. Now Spain, much like Singapore, use winged monkeys to transmit your packets when they have router trouble. There's little you can do to resolve it besides wait until they wake up from their New Year's siesta and sort it all out. If indeed it is fixable at all. I'd give your provider a buzz if it carries on for more than a month.
