No, do not start signing up yet. It will be released when things like that can happen. I really didn't want this getting out at all yet.

No, this won't count as a TWD squad. We are using TWD database to make it easier to use and more orderly.

I also wrote the rules that you edited. I ran the league when mike and chain decided to leave. I was captain of at least in my opinion the best SB squad there ever was. I was the only speedball mod as far as I know, and only person still around that has hosted an SB league game. So if you want to add me to the contacts on the website or involve me in any way that would be fine. I pretty much know everyone involved with the game since I play it regularly and have been around since it first started. I could rewrite the players guide, that one is like seven years old and there were actually three guides that I wrote for Chain but for some reason the only one you have is the advanced user guide. I could make it a lot shorter and simpler though.

The league failed in the past for a number of reasons, and I think the most important is that staff did not give enough control/power to the SB community. An automated league would probably fail since it would not spark any real interest beyond the core community which is relatively small though dedicated. There needs to be several SB refs with the ability to host games, and hopefully weekly events to raise awareness. I have a lot of experience in this regard and I am willing to help with whatever is planned, but I don't want it to fail again so I can't stress enough the importance of handing over more power to the players. Support from staff is crucial but having the ability to sustain the league will only come from within.
