I apologize if it's been brought up before, I pop in to the forums very little these days.
I have been spending a lot of time on xbox live and having a lot of fun. So many great games... from old arcade games (gauntlet, smash tv, etc) to board games like Settlers of Catan and shooters like Doom. Throw in the online multiplayer and you can kiss your social life goodbye.
It made me think that if we could magically find a company to back us (eg: Midway) they could help make the translation to an emulator on the console, even the controls wouldn't be out of the question for the 360. I don't know who has the rights and such to the game, is it still Virgin? Or have they OFFICIALLY relinquished rights to us as a community (highly doubting that).
I think in todays market where consoles have started to seriously permeate the online gaming world, this would be the perfect chance to bring SS into the spotlight again.
mmm.. SS on my tv.. while I lay down at my couch.. of course that kind of relaxation would probably mean I'd die even more.
