how can you 'have' a banduel when having a banduel is illigal, I mean.. They can't ban you if you lose, so how can you get banned for having the banduel that is illigal in the first place O_o

The agreement being that zone rules were not to be broken by the loser, and would instead remain logged out for the negotiated time. Such an agreement forged between two players cannot and will not be monitored by zone staff. I don't care what kind of zany terms you want to apply if you were to enter into such a competition, but the line is drawn against breaking existing zone rules to fulfill your end of the bargain. If you do, and staff are aware of your banduel, I'll make you wish you hadn't.

In laymans terms pasta, the loser of a banduel sometimes sends a racist help message or tks someone to get banned as thus fulfilling there end of the deal. Rudy's point is that he doesnt give a sh*t if you banduel, just dont expect staff to enforce it in anyway and if you do break a rule to deliberately get banned he'll fuck your ass hard.

How can you have a ban duel without a mod? So it's not a ban duel unless some satffer steps up says he'll ban the loser. At that point the staffer should get banned or axed. I mean, sounds ridiculous.

Kawrae, you can have banduel by the other person sticking to what the pact they agreed to, and go out and do something illegal. However, if the person does stick to it, then both get banned if I'm not mistaken. Besides, ban duels are illegal, and I personally think that anyone participating in one should be warned then banned appropriately. Rudy will send out a judgement soon enough though, I'm assuming.

Let's not forget this. First two sentences especially. As for the loser, I think what Rudy means is anyone can go spew out racism, but for someone known to be involved in a ban duel and because they lost they are using racism, there are no clear guidelines as to how long they will be banned. Basically what mhz said. Hopefully we can get some clearer guidelines when Rudy comes online.
