As for anything else, all those examples are examples of prejudices, not racism. Seeing your interest in political correctness, I just thought I'd point that out.
BTW, on a side rant, I find it rather egotistical that people dwell so much on the past that they just can't call themselves "American." No such thing as an "African-American." You're either American, or you're African. That's all there is to it. Unless you want to go around calling every "white" person a Caucasian or Anglo-Saxon at any reference, you are more than welcome to step down form the soap-box.
I'm done now... Registration is tomorrow morning, and instead of sleeping, I'm arguing with people that I'll never meet in my life. How dull a life do I lead...
