Because tourny is one of the best events, and it's nothing like the other events you mentioned. You team up with someone you pick, and only fight other teams, the bad get weeded out and there's no way someone can lame to win really.

if you want to be a sad recwhoring, vulching loner in jav, you can go to almost any arena, no need to close down better events for that

I don't see the harm of closing one event for 2 days. We wanted to see if we could bring back belim & we did, tourny is up & running. I say it was worth to close tourny for the weekend to bring back belim. I know some ppl don't agree with me on this subject but that is normal.

If this is about tourny then why is the thread titled Left_eye? It seems more like some kind of a personal attack on lefty than you having issues with tourny being shut down for two days. You made quite a few baseless assumptions that were completely wrong and had nothing to do with the decision made as well.

Besides the fact that this is obviously some kind of personal grudge between you and lefty, I'll point out why this was done. The reasoning behind the decision was because the majority of tourny games are voted javelin, and because we wanted the revival of baseelim and it's ranking functionality to be as big a success as possible, we shut down tourny. It was decided to be much more insignificant because it was only for one weekend. I'm certain that just as many people that played tourny last weekend will play tourny this weekend coming up, if not then more people because it wasn't there this weekend. No harm done. If the population still doesn't find baseelim interesting enough anymore even though the ranking system is fixed, I'm fine with that. I don't think it's fair to continually force people to play another arena just so they can get their fun in a jav, but for one weekend in hopes of reviving an old arena? Sure.
