80ms used to be a pretty high lag for me when the server was in Finland. I used to have an average 30ms all the time with my ISDN. :wub:

Maybe he'll include the "feature" of retroactively banning all names greater than 19 characters, and make it impossible for the client to register names longer than 19 at the same fortuitous instant, so that client-side bots will not be slowly and perpetually fucked into the next decade.

Kinda weird how hyped people are. We got the rumours of new client being worked on a few months back already.

Lets just wait and see if it really does happen.

I'm confident it'll prevent a lot of cheating, and maybe they'll come up with some new features as well. We shall see.

Rumours are of a new Continuum version 0.39 and it seems to be stronger then the last time we had them.
Mine Go Boom replied to an earlier topic on his forum with the following message:

Well, it is that time of the year(s) again. Priit has sent a new message to Ghost Ship stating that he is busy, but that he may get 0.39 into a state to be released as to not be a Pre-release anymore. Some of the sites are working together to maybe coordinate a group release, mostly for bandwidth purposes.

rootbear75 reports of a message sent in-game:

New version of Continuum will be released in next 1-2 weeks. Priit has not forgotten/forsaken us completely, Continuum 39 will be released as soon as testing / debugging is completed. Check DL sites next week for details - Ghost Ship

Who knows, maybe we will finally have a new Continuum version which can stop the cheating a bit.
