I don't like the terrier because its back end looks too square. It's like what happens when a really fat ass sits in a really tight chair. Everything just fills out.

Oh, wow, what a great idea, lets make everyone of the 1000+ daily visitors (on a bad day) download a new file, which i presume would effect bandwidth , when those who want a wasp, can just change the shipset. The wasp did kickass, hence why there are shipsets with it in it, predeveloped

Do it for yourself, dont ask those with too much on their plate as it is for something you lazy facking yankies!! Crazy concept, 'eh ?

Now that i have that out of my system.... Why not incorporate a real nightwasp system ? For those of you who dont know, the nightwasp wassnt an actaul ship. It was simply a graphic skinning those who had the most points in an arena, serving the same idea as the continuum "shield" does now. I think it would be a moderately interesting revitilization from the obscure history of subspace

I dont think there is anything wrong with the shipset we have. Other zones with their shipsets just look plain retarded...

I liked what they did in powerball awhile back. Wb and Jav looked cool. Too bad they've changed that.

The problem is many, I repeat, many newbies don't know where/how to get a shipset containing the nightwasp. As you said, "it would be a moderately interesting revitilization from the obscure history of subspace." It'd be nice to have it around again, even if for a brief period of time. Another thing to make note of, the download would hardly be a bother... the filesize wouldn't be outrageous at all, and I'm positive it wouldn't lag the servers any. You people whining about the download really have no clue what you're talking about.

Seeing as how multiple files must be uploaded, im doing a bit of figuring for those with more knowledge of running a server to go off of. To change a single ship, they must download an updated ships.bm2 , and a new roll.bm2 for that ship . This would average around 1mb.... Im not sure how many unique ip's connect to TW in a week, but i would think it would be 2000 +, rounding roughly to 1 Gig, if around 2000... Would anyone care to tell me what effect this might have upon the server used for TW? This is simply a question for my own gain, since jason so kindly said i didnt know what the hell i was talking about

(NOTE : Those are the only files i personally know must be re-downloaded, there may be more and if you know of them, fill this stupid fack in )

I would imagine compression could be implemented to keep the filesize well below a megabyte, or at least I would hope so. As for bandwidth usage, I'd bet the server PriitK is paying for is hardly being taxed. The server offered by Sonera rarely saw 5% utilization. These are all my own personal conjectures of course. By the way Marius, sorry for sounding so condescending. I just meant to say that I don't think it would be too big of a problem. It does seem you know what you're talking about though.

[edit]The reason I say I don't think the server is hardly being taxed is because your typical Continuum client/server session isn't all that bandwidth intensive. As far as I know, the packet size limit is a mere 512 bytes (at least that's what it was in SubSpace).[/edit]
