wonderful idea for a map. ?go void

nothing but black void.

i noticed that when i turn background stars off, and play in TW in an area where there are no rocks either, it is very trippy playing that way.

there should be a map thats nothing but blackness and covers the whole map, and has a small spawning range of just one sector in the center. it can be called ?go void.

it can be made so that its a pure black void without stars, even if someone doesnt have their stars turned off, right? im sure it can because other maps have different backgrounds, like ?go mario , so just back a pure black background and this it, the map is done.

That would be kind of crazy but what exactly would be the point in making a map like that? You would have to come up with some event or a good reason to make people want to go there, but I can't think of anything worth while off the top of my head. :/

Actually that sounds kind of cool. Maybe the void is everywhere but a big freaky mess in the middle, you just fly around the mess in the middle and snipe at each other? Make bombs and bullets and bursts invisible.



BTW, when I play SS, I turn off all the optional graphics, I have no effects, not even simple ones. I also turn off menus (eg: weapons) and use the simplest energy bar.. make my radar see through and text really small. When I see someone playing with all that stuff on I freak out and have seizures...

take a friend to ?go maze, with your back ground stars off and shift thrust around and duel a little, youll see. dont go in the maze, use the void around it.
