  • Weasel energy costs and antiwarp range....

    1. I'm not asking for an exact breakdown, but does anyone know if under the current weasel settings there is a difference in how much energy is used when shooting a single bullet and multifire? I always thought the single bullet used less but never tried eyeing it up (a bit hard since I use the 'subtle' energy bar too)...


    2. Also, does anyone know a general estimate for range on antiwarp? Maybe using pub base as reference... or a screenshot would rock if you're really feeling motivated.

    UPDATE:

    I found some OLD information, not sure if it's true today since the weasel has changed significantly since 2002... BUT back then a single shot was 900 energy and multi was 1100 (with ship holding a max of 1300 energy).

        Thanks. Just curious. I knew the only data I could find was dated.

        I disagree with your opinion that it's useless, I think it can be a very productive member to pub basing matches if the pilot knows what they are doing. It's not tough enough to survive sustained battles, obviously, but it has fallen perfectly into the role they always intended for it in TW- assassin and flag stealing ship. Annd they found a way to do it that doesn't grant it infinite cloak... so the number of dickish x pilots went from way too many to almost none.
