True base players doesn't need mvp. Great sharks get their applaud that they deserve.

The main point in base is TEAM PLAY, and even a great shark will suck with bad team. Like don't you feel its pathetic that you see spiders with 50-14 record and their team lose 4:42-10:00? ^-^

The only positive about your idea, is that it will make people want to shark and get "fame". but as i said, a good sharks get their respect (if they pick you as shark in base, they trust you good enough to shark for them).

Ok fars so i understand that people don't NEED mvp, of course noone needs it,
It's a want, but this "want" could produce better players and players that get noticed more for doing the grueling, boring and repetitive job of sharking.

I don't care about the "respect" from other players because facts and figures are worth more than that.

No matter how you look at it the problem remains the same. It's impossible to figure out how to calculate if/when a shark should get MVP and then get a majority to agree on it. Good idea but no practical way to implement it.

Well in all honesty i think the only ships that should be able to get mvp are the spiders an the terr. they do all the grunt work.

an voting would just end up a clusterfuck,everyone knows that.

for me, shark not getting mvp always added mystique to the ship when i was starting out. That and the fact, that good sharks were always picked 1st or 2nd in base. Other than voting, there is no way for a bot to determine shark mvp. For me, the best sharks will always be the less offensive ones, who rep very well for the spiders. So if they do a particularly nice job at repping a lot of bullets can a bot know that?

Dont think so lol. Repping bullets is the most important factor when sharking, otherwise a shark can cheap its way to mvp...

What would really improve basing is to get rid of MVP altogether. Consider what the introduction of MVP has done to spiders, for instance.
