i used to be new for only having started playing in 99, now i'm embarrassed i've started playing this game before the year 2000.

I'm still convinced I played this already in '96. Around may, april. Because I already played this game on high school, which ended in '96, then I played it quite alot during the rainy summer. And after the summer of '96, junior college, I skipped 27 hours in the first week to play SS. After that week I stopped counting the lessons. I got kicked of before december for N/S. And the 56k6 bills where HUGE. Is my memory that bad that I'm confused with a year?

Anyways, happy birthday!

Good memories are:
- Wasting 6+ hours per day trying to get 900+ bounty in Alpha West.

- Going for the wasp in Alpha

- Cloak-Mine-repping newbies in alpha with some bounty made me litterally laugh out loud all the time. The reactions where so not-friendly.

- Trying to get as far as posible without dying in Alpha (50+). Then create username+1 (seal6, seal12) due to the 2k points limit.

- First experiance with chatting (Suddenly you can talk to someone in Sydney, usa, wherever)

- Finding out what smiley's meant. Back before Y2K I always thought if someone did a smiley that it meant “stop talking / don’t reply”. It took a while for me to reply to “hi seal ”

- My first pro league game. I think I went 0-3 in 1 minute. (nothing changed in tw eh?)

- Alpha J13/ J14. T20 was fun, only when aliased as SuKiYaKi for *wargods* squad :P

- Introduction to macro's was fun.... for a week.

- 4vs4 games always been fun to me. Whether it was in svs or tw.

- Coming to TW aliased as PSV (or Xiro, cant remember the order) and winning baseelim with 26-4. Next round I went 24-2 (or so) and all the 'tw vets' thought i was aliased. (aiming in tw is quite easy if you prac a while in svs)


Less fun things:
- Phone bills.
- Ruined my college years.


On a side note. I never understood why people like running zone, DSB, Powerball, or basing in tw. But diversity is also what made subspace, subspace.

I first tried SS as A fem bot in 1997. I played on a different league then though than trench wars. I started in TW not soon after though.

But today I recieved a ban!
After all these years of playing, with a few years inbetween, I've never even recieved a warning. Today I was just playing a pub terrier (but pwng base of course B) ) as always, but recieved a ban.

Guess that's the reward for 10 years of loyalty.
