It was only working for that 2-week period or so, to give a chance to the people who never set an email or who needed to change theirs. You're screwed now.
If they left in the ?setemail command, the whole point of implementing the lost password feature would be gone. If you could log into someone's name, you could then easily change their email and then their account would be gone for good. The way it now is that if someone takes your account, you just do a ?lostpassword command with a different name, and it makes a random password that is valid for 24 hours, and sends it to your email.
Oh, and someone tried to get my password with the command, and I know who it was (not going to say any names, though)
it was as much to stop nametrading as it was to recover passwords.
The only TWOTIME TWLJ All-Star and TWLB All-Star who never played a game.
