Antiwarp in Pub

Antiwarp should be removed from pure pub. It's hard enough for a terr to stay alive without someone sitting in the flagroom with antiwarp on.

In regular pub though, antiwarp can be useful against LTs and it's easier for a terr to stay alive since most players are not concentrated in the base.

It's a fair tactic...have someone chase down the guy using anti and move him far enough away from the terrier or just kill him.

It's a lame tactic. The quality of pure pub lies mostly on the terrs. Flying to up to base is boring. Its been said that good flagroom battles are when the most fun occurs. Antiwarp decreases the chance of a good fr battle. How can someone chase down the guy when he's hiding in the fr? Use a x and sneak in? That's not as easy as it sounds. And if you do manage to kill him, he can just go buy another antiwarp.

If you are hunting them, then you aren't doing much to get the flag either.

Seriously there isn't a big problem with antiwarpers... send a couple of ships to destroy it or deal with it yourself.

If I remember correctly, the only ship that can get anti warp is the Spider, right? And when the Spider has anti-warp on, it's pretty weak, can barely fire much off with slow recharge. I don't see the imbalance here, it's a sitting duck.

i actually just had an instance tonight, were i was trying to go after a terrier with 6 leviathons on it. i couldnt get close at all, the only thing i could was use antiwarp to kill him. The only thing i could do was team him with a spider using antiwarp and me as a wb. BTW in my years of playing ive never seen a problem with a terrier dieing in base to antiwarp,if you ask me the only solution is to make the leviathon suck more, or remove it from the game, you could also make the leviahon attach to be more like 35 bounty, that way you actually have to kill people and get good therefore making an lt rare. I actually think your just trying to make it impossible for us to kill lts. i dont like pure public either, so the only solution i can think of is actually giving more antiwarp. much less remove it.

its much easier killing an lt if you have a spider with antiwarp attached to a terr along with some warbirds or whatever.

but even if they did raise the attach bty to 35 for levs it probably wouldnt make lting more rare. most levs just go to a safe and get fed kills from their terrier

Were you in fuckin turretwarz? Because there can only be three attached.


And most LT's feed their lev by switching back and forth between freqs, so an increase wouldn't do much good in my opinion.
