how do i do this

I have screenshots but I cant seem to get them hosted on any image hosting website because the files are way too large and big, like all are 5 mbs, but then i look on here and see that all these images are full size pretty much, so how did everyone get these hosted?

are tehy bitmaps or something?

change the file type so they arent ginormous

Indeed, you have to convert them from .bmp (Bitmap) to a more internet-friendly format, like GIF or PNG.
Use paint to open the .bmp then Save As... GIF or PNG (latter is recommended).

Ehh...even PNG's can be multiple Megs. It all depends on how the program saves them. I would use the classic jpeg. You should get aroud 100K-400K file size.
