It has occurred to me that holiday maps are a sacred part of TW, but in the interest of avoiding the inevitable poorly made map I would suggest 2 things.

First of All consider anything overly bright and flashy to be intensely annoying to anyone who isn't either high or retarded.

Secondly and much less obvious has to do with graphics. No one has been able to tell me how to override bullet/burst/bomb/turret/shrapnel gfx while the holiday maps are in place. So until there is a way that i can figure out replace the bullets/bursts AT LEAST which larger art. I can't see the shit that well and well its annoying trying to dodge wb bullets that are similar colors as the background and levi bits flying apart.

Krazie has told me he does not intend to replace gfx for the St. Patricks day map. No doubt his map sucks but more likely it will blow much to the same extent his conversational skills do if he doesn't alter bullet/burst gfx.

If anyone knows how to override holiday gfx I'd be pleased to hear. If not please all help out and type ?message Krazie_ <ZH>ear Newb, Don't fuck up holiday map and put some bigger gfx in.Thanks

if your playing this game without the aide of drugs, than you are retarded. otherwise you would play better games.

Snyder, you should use ?Help in game to get a staffer to help you with holiday graphics.

it is a bit complicated and will take you about an hour to do.

1. Download LVZ editor from www.supspacedownloads.com
2. Debuild the alivday.lvz
3. Open C:/program files/continuum/graphics
4. create a .ini file that points to the normal graphics in the above folder (see buildlvz example)
5. built the .lvz
6. rename your lvz alivday.lvz
7. place it in c:/program files/continuum/ sscu trenchwars
8. close the game, and re-open it

and you will have normal gfx.

i would suggest to not do this, and just wait for the regular map to come back

And you solution proves my point, its overly complex to fix turret gfx.
I don't have an hour to fix your mistakes.

I find it hilarious that it's going to be impossible for you to fix it. You can't change the graphics when they are set in the level. If it was standard graphics, you have control, but since it's custom, you have no choice but to withstand it.

There is a way to override the lvz soooo just override them with the normal ones?
