The whole time it was a flagroom battle. I mean yea, terriers died, but we got back in pretty fast. No one whined or suicided. It was the most fun game of base I remember. Why can't all base games be like that? (I was wb.)

Flagroom fights are great fun, cramming and cram breaking is boring crap. So why not simply have 2-3 easy entrances to the FR? Crams would be much harder to hold so there would be plenty of FR combat. Crams themselves would be more fun, as you'd have to move between the entrances according to enemy movements. The only meaningful objection to this that I can think of, is that FR fighting would lose some of its glory. It'd be the norm and people would get tired of it. Unlikely, but it's a possibility. Heck, you could then bring back the old map if that ever happened. In a week's time those FR battles would again be the rare fun factor midst plenty of crap.
