Why would the person who is d/cing them go to base though? Most of the time they log on, d/c you, stay online until you dc them and then they do it again. Its not that they want to play, its that they want to be stupid assholes because they dont want to lose. I mean yea its completly possible they did ?go base but i doubt it.

all in all, there are douchebags that get their jollies off by d/cing people in game when the biller's down.

Hehe, well, 24 hours passed, servers online, and im back. No probs now.

What can one learn from this are the basics of social engineering.

And what could be the best counter... why not ban both of'em? I mean, hey, if you are complaining, i would say "To secure your identity your account will be suspended for <period>, do you really want to do that?". Bans are IP-based, arent they? Instead of 50/50 - 100/100.

Or, do nothing at all. Let the bastard have the fun. Eventually he'll get bored and move along. The one being abused may also take a coffee brake.
