Has anyone tried downloading the different ships from the mod site? That shit will mess you up for awhile until you figure out what ship is what.

I use visible thrust, that way you can tell how much you are boosting. I turned off the engine noise a long time ago because that got annoying fast.

Are there any other options you can turn off that will give you a smoother gameplay?

turn off backgrounds , stars , detailed explosions , turn everything off, NO FRAMERATE LIMIT , AVOID PAGE FLIPPING

What about 3d sound effects? Now theres some funky shit. Especially since i only have two speakers, and its trying to give me surround sound. When a spider fires behind me its bullets sound warped and inverted.

woot thrust helps me coordinate my movement space and stuff......i couldnt play without the thrust

If I am thinking of the bullets your talking about. goto www.trenchwars.org click links goto the paladen website and then goto like downloads or some shit and scroll down that page. It will have a download thing just click on it ;p
