NEW lag limmit?

I don't know if this has been discussed already, if it's not new at all, or if nobody cares...

Today I have been twd'ing a bunch (squad is fairly active) and I haven't had one match where I have not lagged out 1-2 times atleast.

Well the lagout message says too high SPIKE med, and rumour has it this is something new? Correct me if I'm wrong?

This is supposed to help in some way? I need some explanations please, Thanks.

me and some other squaddies have been experiencing this a bunch of times. The problem with this is that we don't know how to check this spike med before games and then its really aggravating to have to find subs for people with legit lag, or trying to make it go down in game.

ive had the same lag for a year, and in the last 4 games i played i lagged out on avg 2 times each. I sent in a trace to hopone and dock hopefully they can tell me whats up =/

Most spike med lagouts I've experienced were due to my own connection (i.e. flatmate downloading, stuff open in the background and whatnot). I've had em for quite some time, so the feature is already old.

Ya, the medium spike has been in TWD and TWL for at least a couple of years now. One thing I've noticed is that if you get specced for a medium spike, you should esc+q because I often get specced for the same medium spike more than once.

As far as I know there isn't a way to check if you're exceeding the medium spike limit but you also don't get charged a death for a medium spike-lagout, which is a plus.
