    Having any problems with low fps, or just want to make it higher?
    Worked for me, thought I'd share it.

      my FPS didn't change at all
      just to make sure I did it right, here's what I typed:

      @echo off
      cd /d "C:\Program Files\Continuum"
      start /high Continuum.exe

      then i saved it as .bat and when i clicked on it, it launched continuum but didn't improve my fps
      maybe it doesn't work with vista

        You might have the optimum fps already.

        Probably Vista.
        Upgrade to XP.

          I have windows XP and when I use this to play World of Warcraft my computer crashes and I get a blue screen of death. Am I doing anything wrong?

          @echo off
          cd /d "H:\World of Warcraft\"
          start /high WoW.exe

          saved as WoW.bat

          I play for a good 15 seconds and my computer crashes, every time. But during those 15 seconds, it runs very smoothly.

          Got the error: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (from BSoD) and I looked it up. Turns out, doing this "trick' just blew out an entire stick of RAM.

          Do not use it.

                  It is even easier to just go to view/advanced options, and click diable clipping and avoid page flipping, and download directX 9.0 end user... if you still don't have the fps to run continuum after doing that you should probably buy a new computer.

                    :mellow: lol, it actually worked. fps gone from about 60 to 120, thanks . what does the clipping and page flipping actually do when not turned of though? does it even matter?

                          yea i disabled clippin a long time ago and page flipping...4 years ago

                          then all of a sudden it takes me 20 mins to enter an arena if not d/c

                          turns out my fps was going up over 5000fps when i turned "stars" off and was fucking shit up, anyways i had to go to advanced options and chose "fps limit" or w/e that way u have a perfect 128fps at ALL TIMES

                              also goes down with higher resolutions, i think

                              if all that doesn't work, try going down a notch.

                              1280x1024 give me 60-80 fps most of the time, where 1024x768 give me 100+
