I'm proud to announce that the Public Statistics project is finished and released!
Public Statistics
The Public Statistics project (shortly named pubstats) is a project to make our own scores website.
The old scores website, as we all know, has been gone for some time now. I figured that our bots can gather scores from the public arenas and publish it to a website. As a bonus it would be possible to generate all kinds of other statistics (like a graph on how many players are from a specific country).
To make things complex I also added the ability of keeping scores per ship. This way someone can be elite in the warbird while his overall score doesn't reflect it.
The project started with a database schema and a rough bot design. Alinea (<ER>) took on the job of creating the website while I worked on the bot(s). Unfortunately I underestimated the bot work. It took me a while to get the work done on the bots. Meanwhile Alinea <ER> did a great job and completed the website part.
I thought I had the bot(s) done but it didn't perform and work properly. I had to redesign the bots which unfortunately took quite a while.
Once I was done with the bots, I couldn't restrain myself and improved the website to what I wanted it to be. A number of graphs were added and a page to display the top rankings on a scorereset.
Go take a look and let me know what you think!

If you have any ideas for improvements, bugs or other comments, let me know.
Note: The statistics on the website are updated every 15 minutes (the bots save every 15 minutes).
Special thanks to alinea <ER> for creating the initial web pages and design ^-^
