make a basic form (or use the current form) of 'action history' available to everyone on twd squad pages. would be like 'on the move' for twd, but would also show new assistants etc. (sometimes its hard to figure out what changed on your squad roster).

am league -

i think sometime around the beginning of summer, several months before the start of TWL, a poll or someone should see if there's enough interest to start this. There are a few threads on this idea which could be looked at for more information. Another possibility is to make a full-scale TWD season, one with scheduled games that forces you to play every squad.

squadswapping -

it would be cool to "borrow" players in the offseason, but I don't see how that can't be done already, it's just not a formal thing. Maybe remove the 48 hr rule to allow a person to play a jd or something with a different squad. They'd only be allowed to make one switch a day, or only allowed to switch to one squad, but for an unlimited number of times.

im for most of what space said however squad swapping hurts squads more then helps. For instance if you are using 5 twl players and they leave after twl reset. Your squads teamming and possibly even their record is going to take a big hit. Which leaves the squads self esteem and activity in pieces. For instance before twl, rejected basers had a good amount of active and fun players. Once twl started however, they lost 5-10 good active players and more or less left the squad for dead. Same can be said about Maketso and plade.

higher substitutions limit in TWL/TWD

maybe we could branch out from the '5 starters play entire game' style of play. some squads this TWL have one or more possible starting lines. would be fun to sub in some other players to spread out the playing time.

OK...synE is out of TWL, but they would of atleast beat Rape. syne's only hope of getting wins this TWL were against Rape, Disoblige, and Sweet/Dynasty. They got replaced by...who?!?!? They got what kind of score?!?!? It would have been better off with two TWL divisions consisting of the top 20 squads with 10 squads in a division (winners/losers). Teams would get picked into the divisions based off of some type of ratio (at the end of the regular TWD season with the scores being erased going into the TWL season) with games played, win ratio, rounds won vs. total rounds played, and avg. rating of opponent. Scheduling could have started with tougher squads playing weaker squads in their own division at the start of the season (based off the TWD rankings) starting fresh with new ratings or power rankings with the possibilities of having to play a squad in the TWL season more than once...it is the season, not the playoffs. Playoffs would be completely different with a winners and losers bracket. Winners bracket = Kings of TWL, losers bracket = the synE's of TWL (don't feel like explaining playoffs, just got doing inventory and I'm pooped!)...and also, to keep TWD active during TWL there should be an honorable mention of a squad being King of the TWD Ladder throughout it all, but not as much as a squad would be mentioned with winning TWL. So hopefully...spread the word to pubbers, STAFF...half of them don't even know what a squad is about and the TWD arenas...it should bring more players into our TWD season and zone. You vets out there need to quit aliasing and start going into lower ladder squads with a known name and help that squad learn to have fun, quit worrying about your squad history...doesn't mean shit. Let's keep this game running!

Whats wrong with the current LD setup? As far as I know the season has been going pretty well so far with one dropout. That being said, with the dropout, theres not enough of a playerbase to sustain amateur league without taking something away from TWL. We played...9 games to eliminate 4/10 squads. if we cut the number by 2 and had 8 squads like other leagues and then a separate amateur league, with squads like kleanerz and paladen, we wouldnt be helping anything. You would just dumb down both leagues. Lets not even talk about TWLB/J, which have a hard enough time fielding 8 squads now. What are you going to do start those at semi finals?

A rookie rule. Have you read anything that I've posted about TWDT? I think you should listen to my ideas first. Why would I play with a rookie in TWL? What constitutes a rookie? TWLM value? when that goes up to a certain point I have to add someone else? With TWL I'm going to add the best line I have to win because thats the competitive league. TWD is here for everyone to play, and in the offseason, hopefully TWDT.

I dunno what squadswapping is, but hopefully its 'borrowing' a player from another squad to play with you when you only have 3, and I think that TWD would benefit from this, but how much would it be used because people are always afraid of being fed
