Some ads go 150 dollars for a week with an average of 50k clicks. Thats an average of .01 cents per click. Whats nice about this is it shows how often the ads get repurchased and how good each are on their rating system.

My approach for advertising this game would be to try to recruit people from these sites.

www.armorgames.com - People who play flash games are looking for a game they can mindlessly play for 15 minutes or so on a lunch break or to kill some time, they aren't trying to get involved in a huge game that takes time to load and time to get anywhere. So we point out that in TW you can just hop in a pub and get some instant action.

(legality issues?) Old game download sites - People who are looking for roms and emulators for SNES and NES obviously are either poor, or know that older games are still fun even though the graphics aren't super amazing. So if they are still ok playing FF3 on SNES or Super Tecmo Bowl on NES chances are they would probably think it was still fun playing TW.

What about pitching the game to gaming sites for a feature? I've always found the story behind Subspace, from VIE to its rebirth as Continuum to be one of the most fascinating things about the game. The story behind Subspace has always been about survival, and the fact it's been community driven for about a decade now would make an appealing nut for an article.

There's also a UK-based gaming magazine called Retro Gamer (www.retrogamer.net) that might be a good target for advertising.

Do you know if he's still making them? It kinda sounded like he stopped until he could afford to do it bigger or had more interest.

I'd be willing to throw him some bones if it came down to it, to offset the cost of printing and laminating all of them.

PL, also from what i understand hes gonna be showing us how much donations he has and where hes putting them.

He should be still doing them, in the new thread he said hes getting back into it. So ill get some and hopefully get them copied at kinkos and make more. The other option which i didnt realize til now is i can upload his design to like vistaprints.com and they will make 250 free business like cards.

Also PL is working on putting SS on gametap.com
