That "Subspace Emissary" one isn't bad. But the rest of them are just ships and junk, we'd need something that'll make a person read it and then easily find out what it's about.

i remember someone set up a shop on cafepresse

i bought some bumber stickers (still got 'em) of a wb, jav, and spider. People are constantly asking me what they mean (usually i just say they came with the car :P) so who knows, maybe it'll help?

They were pretty pricey @ 5.00 a bumber sticker, so I only got 3 (woulda got all 8). The site said something about 1-2.00 going to whoever set up the store, which I'm assuming ulitmately led back to SS.

Lols, I like how there are people commenting about how they wouldn't wear it. People's opinions of a T-shirt you're wearing is of utmost importance of course!

Psh. The people most likely to comment are people with jokes (and hey! You play TW, one of the shittalking capitals of the e-world. Jokes should be no problem for you). Besides, if there are any shirt-judgers making comments/ caring too much about a shirt, doubt they would be much fun in-game.

I think Dameon Angell is on the mark for a sweatshirt or t-shirt ideas as far as layout and concept. The logo of the game itself is an icon to those that have once played or are still playing. I know that I have actually had people ask me how I got my SS baseball hat. I was somewhat shocked that people had known of the game when approached. MOM from eg was selling those years ago...nice too and embroidered!

Even the I brake for weasels is good...but not what I would say is enticing to those that never heard of or played the game.


No matter what is on the shirt, there should be a graphic of the SS logo somewhere.

The other thing would be to make sure they are screened on good quality shirts and not the crap that Paladen use to sell. I have two old TW (KJW Endorsed) sweatshirts that had been XL's only to shrink to extra small and then be used as a rag for cleaning the car. Also heat tranfers suck if your going to use colors. if a company would make these...make sure they use a good grade textile ink or vinyl ink such as NasDar sells....heat transfers are ok if your selling these shirts for under $5. Vinyl inks will last longer than the shirts themselves...I at one time lived off of selling screened concert shirts when I toured acorss the States following the Grateful Dead back in the late 70's-early 80's...the inks themselves and the quality of the shirt are one of the things besides the design that you really must consider.

Cafe Press...that's who I purchased the cheap ass sweatshirt and shirt from, sponsored by Paladen at the time! Hopefully they have better shirts available...and the design was a heat transfer that faded after a few washes.
