Well, there have been threads about it in the past, it's no secret that some players are willing to pay money to get names and/or squadnames that they would like. If someone has the income to be able to do this and wants to do it, I don't see the problem with it. Alas, I am starting to sell the things I own. If anyone is interested you can PM me, message me, forum pm me, whatever. I will not disclose the names of people who buy from me because I know it is considered "nerdy" by people who apparently care about what you use your own money on. I'm selling the names and squads for relatively low prices compared to what they probably could go for, so if you're interested in acquiring one of these names or squads with money, this is probably the time to do it.

I only accept paypal money transfers, I don't do anything through the mail or whatnot. If you're interested, or just have any questions about to it don't hesitate to contact me.

i could probably get uzumaki_naruto555 and sell it to you for 3 dollars, it's as good as every other name mentioned in this thread. Hate and Acid could be 'cool' squadnames to mess around with every now and then... but paying for anything here would probably be the most desperate move ever. I would however understand if money went to server funding, then it might be a good idea but right now....

Everybody seems to forget that the ?setemail command doesn't work (anymore). As soon as someone pays money for a name, gets the password and changes it, the seller can easily reclaim the name by doing ?lostpassword <name>.
Asking netops about it will not help the buyer as the seller has claimed the name and has his name/registration data set on the name.

This has happened before, don't fall for it.

For this reason, such transactions can only turn bad and thus can be seen as illegal.
