TW spam emails

I dunno if everyone got them, or whether I'm special, but when I woke up this morning there was three emails waiting for me from TW staff - two apparently from pure_luck and one from kim.

I think the idea of emailing members with "whats on" type newsletters is good, but maybe once a month, rather than three a day!

I'm pretty upset that one of the emails from pure_luck didn't hide everyones email addresses - while I love my fellow trenchers, I'm not looking forward to the mountain of crap that may end up in my inbox saying "?go base"... BCC is the way forward!

I'm also a bit disappointed that pure_lucks messages were so badly written. A bad newsletter is worse than no newsletter, it just makes staff look like idiots...............

Let's go one step further and add useful life-skills to the newsletter, e.g. When to use "you're" and "your", and never to use "ur". The next lesson could describe how to read "Army time" AKA the 24 hour clock.

Attached could also be an application form for a Trench Wars credit card. The advertisement will say "Have you got the Trench Wars advantage?". The filler could say "Get the advantage! Get the Trench Wars credit card, the only way to pay that helps increases to your pub score throughout the day". It would be endorsed by Pure_Luck where you'll find him pictured, holding the card next to his monitor in mid-ban looking deranged.
